Carnal Machinery – Cluster A (CD)

Description

As the 2020 Pandemic hit bands hard, Helsinki-based musician Jacques Saph was frustrated with his band Virgin in Veil inability to tour and perform on stage. The idea of an electronic solo project blending the darkness of darkwave and the cold anger of deathrock came to life in mid 2020, with the release of first single “Voices”. After a string of singles and music videos, “Cluster A”, Carnal Machinery’s first album, was written, recorded and mixed during the spring months of 2021.

The inaugural release from Finland’s Carnal Machinery is a blend of darkwave and punk that mixes anguished, raspy screaming vocals with icy-cold synths.
